SMS Terms and Conditions
Consent. By providing your mobile phone number to WEDULabs, you consent to receive SMS/text messages from us related to the services we provide. These messages may include project updates, support communications, scheduling coordination, and other service-related information exchanged between you and our engineering team. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any service.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on active project needs and communication initiated by either party. WEDULabs does not send automated marketing campaigns or bulk promotional messages via SMS.
Your phone number. You affirm that the mobile number you provide is accurate, current, and that you are the authorized subscriber or owner. If your phone number changes, notify us promptly by emailing info@wedulabs.com.
Opt-out. To stop receiving SMS messages from WEDULabs, reply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any message from us. You may also email info@wedulabs.com to opt out. You agree to receive a final message confirming your opt-out. Opting out of SMS does not terminate your service agreement — we will continue communications via email or other agreed channels.
Help. For assistance, reply HELP to any message from us, or email info@wedulabs.com.
Carrier participation. SMS service depends on your wireless carrier’s support. Participating carriers in Canada include Rogers, Bell, Telus, Freedom Mobile, SaskTel, Vidéotron, Eastlink, and their subsidiaries (Fido, Koodo, Virgin Plus, Chatr, Lucky Mobile, Public Mobile, Fizz). In the United States, participating carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others. Not all carriers support all message types. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Rates. WEDULabs does not charge for SMS messages. However, standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply. Contact your carrier for details about your plan.
Data collection. In connection with SMS service, we collect your mobile phone number, carrier name, and the date, time, and content of messages. This data is used to deliver the services you have requested and to maintain records of service communications. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Service changes. WEDULabs reserves the right to modify or discontinue SMS service at any time, with or without notice.
Eligibility. By using this service, you affirm that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age and possess a wireless device capable of two-way SMS messaging.
Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold WEDULabs harmless against any claims arising from: (a) your provision of a phone number you do not own or are not authorized to use, (b) failure to notify us of changes to your phone number, or (c) any violation of applicable telecommunications or anti-spam legislation. You agree to defend and hold us harmless from any resulting claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees.
Severability. If any provision of these SMS terms is found unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Governing law. These SMS terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, including CASL (Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation) and PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act).
